What's new in this version

This is Version 1.2

This is a primarily a cosmetic makeover. When the ePMbook was created in 1999, the modern concept of an ebook did not exist. We styled the ePMbook to look like a typical printed book - to make the reader feel more at home with reading extended works on a relatively low-resolution computer screen. The intent of this version is to make it easier to read - switching to a better fonts and taking advantage of larger screen sizes and faster internet connections by re-creating the graphics in higher resolution and larger size. All pages have been updated.

There have also been many minor changes to the text, particularly where content or examples were out of date. Some additional content has been added, for example in the Risk Management area. But this is not a major revision - that is planned for later this year.

Version 1.1

This is a technical update.

The Java based index was failing on many platforms, so we decided to move away from using Java. The new index uses Javascript. Let us know if there are any problems with it!

The search engine provider has discontinued the service, so we have switched to a different provider.

Now is a good time for readers to send us feedback. The Readers' Questionnaire is accessible by a button in the header.
